In 1998, Heller placed six Bellini Chairs in an all-white, 50-foot-long booth at the annual Salone furniture fair in Milan. We knew this modern indoor-outdoor chair was something special and deserved a striking debut – and to say we stole the show would be an understatement. The Bellini chair resides in the design collections of many museums worldwide and earned celebrated Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini his eighth Compasso d’Oro award in 2001.
